Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Departure from Warsaw /Chopin Airport/ at 9.40 PM,

Day 2: Arrival to CHANIA at 01.40 AM, transfer to hotels, check-in, free time, overnight.

Day 3: Drive to the Akrotiri Peninsula. Visit to one of the most famous monasteries in Crete: Agia Triada. It is also known for the production of wine and olive oil. Shopping in the cloister shop. Then drive to Chania. Like in Rethymno, an opportunity to walk around a charming area in the harbour where the influences of Greek, Turkish and Venetian culture interline. Free time, return to the hotel, overnight.

Day 4: A great attraction awaits us today. A travel to the south side of Crete – the Libyan Sea. We will feel the heat of the African air. Hora Sfakion will be the place to rest after a journey through the winding roads. We will relax in one of the many tavernas of this tiny town. Next a cruise to the town of Loutro. Free time. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 5: Day trip to the westernmost south part of Crete: Elafonisi with one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It is famous for its warm and crystal-clear water and pink sand. Overnight.

Day 6: Drive to KNOSSOS – for those willing a visit to the remains of the palace from the Minoan period. Drive to HERAKLION – the largest city in Crete. Free time in the Old Town. Return to the hotel, overnight.

Day 7: Drive to Rethymno – a walk around the historic part of the city near the harbour. Free time for shopping. Later in the day we will go to the freshwater lake Kournas. It is possible to swim or ride in water bikes enjoying the panoramic view of the White Mountains. Perhaps we will manage to encounter geese, ducks and turtles. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 8: Day trip to the central part of Crete. Visit to the historic Arkadiou Monastery, then for a moment of relax Margaritas – a small village famous for making pottery. An opportunity to see the production process and purchase some original souvenirs. Free time for lunch. At the end, visit to the Melidoni cave, an interesting example of karst forms. The cave is illuminated and hides a dark story from many years ago. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 9: Leisure, free time.

Day 10: Leisure, free time.

Day 11: Leisure, free time.

Day 12: Breakfast, check-out, transfer to the airport, departure at 9.35 AM, arrival to Poznan at 11.35 AM, transfer to the place of the pick-up, end of the pilgrimage.
