Warsaw
sightseeing tour with a local guide. We shall walk around the old city
and enjoy the magic atmosphere of the past. Your tour begins from Castle
Square (Plac Zamkowy) which draws the boundary between the XXI century
and the fascination of the XVII and XVIII centuries. Our tour includes:
''King Sigismund's Column''built in 1644 by Sigismund the IIIrd
Vasa's honor, the king of Poland and Sweden who, at the beginning of
the XVII century, transferred the capital of the country from Cracow
to Warsaw, the Royal Castle,whose history dates back to the XIV
century, St.John's Cathedral, The Jesuit Church, very close to
the Cathedral, is one of the first Baroque churches in Poland and dates
back to the early XVII century, St.Martin's Church and Sigismund's
Bell., which lays where it felt from the bell tower during the bombing
in 1939 an finally we will reach the Old Market Square. Old Market
Square is no doubt the most beautiful part of Warsaw and one of
the most fascinating squares in Poland and in the whole of Europe. The
present plan of the old town probably dates back to the XIV century,
while the present shape of the square dates back mainly to the XVII
century, when the rich merchant families built their houses there. We
will have a dinner at Old Market Square. Next, walk towards The Barbican
to reach New Town Square with the Church of the Sisters of the
Blessed Sacrament, and the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin
Mary, the oldest church in the New Town. Next in turn, absolutely not
to be missed is Krasinski Palace, one of the most beautiful Baroque
palaces in Poland. It was built between 1677 and 1682 and it is now
the seat of a department of the National Library. We will also see the
monument of the Warsaw Uprising and finally reach the Grand Theatre,
erected between 1825 and 1832 according to the design by Antonio Corazzi.

ROYAL WAY.
The Royal Way (Trakt Krolewski) is a route which
leads from the Royal Castle to Lazienki Palace, the Royal
Summer residence, and goes on to Wilanow, the park and palace
complex which served as the royal residence for the King Jan III Sobieski.
It includes three, significant roads: Krakowskie Przedmiescie (the
main southward route from the old Warsaw).Over the 17th and 18th centuries,
many magnificent churches, magnates' palaces and burghers' houses were
built there and the street became one of the most elegant arteries of
Warsaw, Nowy Swiat and Aleje Ujazdowskie. Walking along
the Krakowskie Przedmiescie we will admire St. Anne's Church,Carmelite
Church, Radziwill Palace and the monument of the Cardinal Stefan
Wyszynski. Next, we shall drive to Lazienki Palace - beautifully
situated residence of the last Polish King.
Wilanów, baroque residence, once owned by one of the greatest
Polish kings John III Sobieski, and till the end of the Second World
War belong to the noble family - Braniccy. Overnight in Warsaw.

THE GOLDEN CITY OF PRAGUE
A city - one of its kind! What makes it so special? Maybe cobble-stone
streets that wind over the seven hills, Gothic buildings and Baroque
Churches, which hosted great Mozart! Maybe friendly and always helpful
inhabitants!. The city is one of the oldest and architecturally diverse
cities in Europe. To discover its variety we shall begin with Hradcany
Castle - the Old King's Palace and the St. Vitus Cathedral
- the largest in Europe. Walk through the Golden Lane to see
a house where Franz Kafka once lived and Loreto Church. We continue
our walk to the picturesque Mala Strana with splendid buildins,
Baroque palaces and gardens to reach the banks of the River Vltava
and the famous, 14th century Charles Bridge with Gothic towers
and Baroque Statues. The capital city of Czech Republic may also
be proud of one of the most representative and well-preserved Jewish
Quarters in Europe. After lunch city tour takes us to 15th century
Jewish cemetery, synagogues (exceptionally worth seeing Spanish synagogue),
and museums. Finally we will reach the Old Town where you will
find St. Nicholas Church, the Týn Cathedral and the Old Town
Hall with its 14th century astronomical clock and figures
of apostles. Since Old Town district is not far from the modern city
centre we will also find a time for shopping. The day will end with
a cultural performance and a dinner. Overnight in Prague.

morning drive takes us to Budapest - the capital of Hungary.
On the arrival to this picturesque city the rest of the day is free.
You are welcome to take a walk through the cobble-stone streets or go
shopping. Our tour - guide will be helpful and ready to give any additional

- FROM ONE CAPITAL TO THE OTHER
Hungary
is a fascinating travel destination in the heart of Europe emerged
from the shade of anonymity only a decade ago. Budapest is one
of the most beautiful capitals of the world, visiting it we will have
an opportunity to participate in the rich cultural life, the culinary
delights and discover the hidden treasures of the countryside. Budapest,
by the Danube River, is made up of two parts - Buda and Pest. Buda is
the older part of the city, characterized by medieval building and cobble-stone
streets. During our tour we will see Castle district: Royal Palace
- in the late 15th century one of the most splendid Royal Seats
in Europe - with its famous Bibliotheca Corviniana once equaled
to the Medici Library in Florence. We continue to13th century Matthias
Church, the Fishermen's Bastion - built in 1905 on the medieval
castle walls. These neo-Romanesque ramparts were so-named after the
city's fishermen whose duty it was to defend this side of the hill during
the medieval ages. Next we move towards Gellert Hill with the
Citadelle. After lunch we walk towards Pest - side to admire
the Heroes' Square, the City Park, Vajdahunyad Castle, St. Stephen's
Basilica and the Neo-Gothic House of Parliament. It is also possible
to spend an evening taking part in a cultural event in the beautiful,
designed and built in Renaissance style Opera House. Dinner at

OF CRACOW
After breakfast
we drive back to Poland. This time we arrive in Cracow, one of
the most beautiful Polish cities, once the seat of the Polish Kings.
Nowadays Cracow is getting more and more visitors from all over the
world who come here not only to admire the beauty of its architecture,
but also to enjoy an unforgettable atmosphere of the past, drink a coffee
or have a bear on the Old Market Square. On the arrival dinner at hotel
restaurants. Overnight in Cracow.

MAGIC CRACOW
We
will take you into the streets and places that have witnessed centuries
of history. Our sightseeing will start at Wawel Royal Castle and
the Cathedral. Than, we shall stroll through Kanonicza Street
towards the Old Town to visit St. Mary's Church, the
Cloth Hall, the oldest University building - Collegium Maius,
the Barbican and finally we reach Market Square to have a lunch
in one of the local restaurants. In the afternoon the city tour takes
us to Kazimierz, the south-east quarter of Cracow. It was the
historical centre of Cracow's Jewish religious and social life. Originally
it was a separate town named after King Casimir the Great and incorporated
into Cracow administrative borders in the 18th century. The tour of
Kazimerz takes you to the most important monuments in this area. First
you see the sites, that Steven Spielberg used for his location
shots of the Oscar winning ''Schinder's List''. Then you visit
the most precious monuments of Jewish culture in Cracow: the Old
Synagogue (now the Judaic Department of the Historical Museum of
the City of Cracow), the Remuh Synagogue and the Remuh Cemetery.

AUSCHWITZ - BIRKENAU - THE HISTORY WE SHALL NEVER FORGET
After breakfast
we drive to the most well known cemetery and setting for genocide in
the world. Started in 1940 as a concentration camp for Polish
political prisoners, Auschwitz became the centre for extermination of
European Jews in 1942. During 1940-1945, the Nazis killed about 1,500,000
people here, mainly Jews, but also Poles and Gypsies. Farewell dinner
and overnight in Cracow.

UNDERGROUND WORLD
Early
morning we drive to Wieliczka Salt Mine, which has its place
on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. Our route through
the mine leads you through galleries and chambers on three levels, from
64 to 135 metres below the ground, including especially worth seeing
the unique and richly ornamented Chapel of the Blessed Kinga. The
route is 2.5 km long and you have to walk down 400 steps in total. The
last stop in the mine is the souvenir shop and snack bar. From here,
a lift carries you back to the surface. It is absolutely certain you
would wish to see the place again. It is worth it. If you come back
to Poland any time in a future you may even take part in a ball or a
party organized in one of the underground chamber.
